We're glad you chose to visit the website of
the Georgia Retail Association. The site is designed to inform
Georgia's retailers of political and industry developments
that impact their stores and to make them aware of valuable
business services available through the Association.
Please visit often,
and if you are not yet a member of the Association, please
consider joining your fellow
retailers as they work to build and maintain a legislative
and regulatory climate favorable to retailers, enabling them
to deliver better service and value to their customers. Also,
share any suggestions for
the site so that we can make available the information and
services that will be most meaningful to you.

Identity
Theft - Instructions for Victims
In
view of the staggeringly high and increasing number of identity
theft cases reported by the Federal Trade Commission each year,
we have to protect ourselves and take an active part in helping
to resolve these crimes. The following
set of guidelines is designed to assist in this process. You
will also find a great deal of good advice on the FTC's web site,
www.consumer.gov/idtheft
, and you can reach the FTC Identity Theft Clearinghouse at
877-439-4338.
