SUMMARY: HB683, which would allow employers to file questionnaires and answers regarding garnishment without the signature of an attorney, passed both Senate committee and the full Senate this week. This bill now sits on the governor’s desk for consideration of his signature. GRA is supportive of this effort.

RESULT: This bill died during the 2012 session and GRA will continue to fight against its passage in future years.
