Thank
you for visiting the website of the Georgia Retail Association.
Whether it's your first visit or you are a repeat visitor, I hope
you'll find information that will benefit you. We're always looking
to improve our services to the retail community. If you have suggestions
about how this website can be more responsive to your needs, please
contact us.
The Georgia Retail Association is all about being the voice for
the state's retail community. It's our job to monitor legislative
and regulatory developments for you. We support, and often propose,
policy changes that benefit the retailers and the customers we serve
while opposing unreasonable restrictions on how we operate our stores.
The more retailers support our efforts the louder and more effective
our voice will be.
At the signing of the Declaration of Independence, John Hancock
remarked that the revolutionaries should be unanimous in their action.
While we may not always be unanimous in everything, Benjamin Franklin's
response to Hancock's remark often holds true for our industry in
the legislative and regulatory arenas:
"We must indeed all hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall
all hang separately."
Thank you for 'hanging together' with your retail colleagues. If
you're not yet a supporter of GRA's efforts, I hope you'll join
today.
